Role Overview:
Facilitate order management - process order intake, input into internal systems. Connect to customer portals and systems. May support forecasting, billing and collection activities.
Key contact for customer inquiries, customer complaint (issue) resolution process. Work with operations to understand and communicate commits and status to customers.
Focal point for Defense Acquisition Program Administration services contracts
Repairs order entry and fulfillment
Provide updates bi-weekly to customers and monthly face to face meetings
Support fleet sustainment requirements
May also engage in sales activities for assigned customers.
Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate brings experience with engine component repair and overhaul. Exposure to ROKAF (Korean Air force) supply chain and customer experience a plus. Proficiency in working with cross‑functional teams. Exposure to turbine engine and accessories maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) suppliers /facilities. Knowledge of Sourcing or materials processes and the ability to understand stringent aerospace safety and quality requirements. Problem solving and continuous improvement will be tenets of the role as well.
