PATH (People, Advisor, Training, Holistic) is an 18 Month Contracts Management Program where the selected candidate will learn and develop skills to become a successful Contract Management (CM) professional. You will receive education and personal mentorship from top minds while being exposed to a variety of disciplines of contracts, along with learning appropriate risk mitigation strategies, negotiation skills and strategies, and understanding Government regulations, as required.
This development program is composed of one primary rotation and several smaller rotations and shadowing events in in different areas of various functions and the business to allow you to constantly challenge yourself. While in the program, you will receive in-class and virtual training to aid your development, have opportunities to lead and participate in impactful projects, and network with senior Contract Management, Business and Legal leaders across the globe. The responsibility and autonomy you are provided will empower you to make business-shaping decisions. The purpose of the program is to give an individual a chance to explore a potentially new career direction in the Contracts Management field.
The Contracts Analyst is an individual contributor that learns to develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet our customer’s goals. In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team by providing sound business advice, spearheading the process by which contracts are created and influencing how we provide products and services to our Aerospace customers.
This position will involve working in support of US Government contracts by developing an understanding of the entire contracting lifecycle and ability to navigate within the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Individuals should readily adapt to change and be aspiring to apply their skills in an expeditious environment.

Job Description

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
  • Function as primary interface between GE and our customers on all contractual matters
  • Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including regular interfacing with customers, leading negotiations, and assisting with contract interpretation all while ensuring compliance to GE policies and Government regulations
  • Collaborate cross functionally with the Manufacturing, Program Management, Finance, Sales, Property, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Legal teams
  • Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with supervision
  • Provide support to managers and senior contract personnel on assigned contracts
  • May perform as part of a team for special projects
  • Actively listen to internal and external sources and propose solutions to maximize our impact and deliver on our commitments
  • Review processes and suggest improvement to ensure overall efficiency within the context of lean

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
